Yesterday at the Moon-Mars conj. in Scorpio in my & @watsonfinastro.bsky.social's 4th house, we turned our furnace on again for the first time since last winter. Woke up today to smoke alarms/flames from the furnace. Called 911 & put it out. Fire Dept said it could've been much worse. All safe now.

Out of the blue, I had an odd urge last week to go to a Japanese tea garden in my city. It had been a while since we'd taken the kids out to do something, so we went there today and came across something, well, pretty weird. A peace pole, placed there on Oct 23rd 1987. I was born Oct 23rd 1987. Wtaf

Had a blast at the Kepler College 25th Anniversary Symposium. It was great to see old friends, hang out with Rick Levine and show off Nechepso. Also, I came in first place in the astro trivia competition and won this sweet mug, my chalice of triumph, my goblet of victory.

Being here at NORWAC is overwhelming and incredible, just amazing to meet people in real life I'd previously only seen on feeds and small rectangles on Zoom. Let's just say Jupiter is doing the absolute most in my 11th right now. Looking forward to my last talk today on Babylonian Goal Years!

A bald eagle flew overhead as @watsonfinastro.bsky.social and I were walking. It was pretty close to us and was quite a sight. "Maybe this is another one of our animal eclipse omens" I said. A second later, the eagle crossed in front of the sun as its shadow fell over us.

My 9-year old daughter Joy is having a hell of a 10th house profection. She is a crazy talented artist and did all of the illustrations for my wife's (@watsonfinastro.bsky.social) new book on the lunar mansions. Very proud.
