It's time to recognize the Left/Right labeling it for what it really is, an ancient labeling system that stopped being used for anything other than political villainization nearly a century ago. These are now just political team names, even with proper team colors and home towns.

Since the French Revolutions of the 1700's we've defaulted to a Left-Right categorization of political thought. What was a just convenience for a specific debate (should the powers of the French King be limited) is now seen as a global framework for what is "good' and what is "evil" for billions.

Human language is lossy compression. We flatten rich inner experience into crude words. Listeners then decode those words using their own context, reconstructing something new. That gap-filling act—not precision—is the engine of human understanding.
