며칠 전 치러진 국제수학올림피아드(IMO) 결과가 발표되었다. 우리나라는 3위.
중-미-한-일-폴-이스-인-싱-벳-튀 순.

우리나라 팀 6명에 정말 오랜만에 여학생이, 그것도 중2 여학생이 선발되어서 화제였는데, 성적도 좋아서 72명에게 준 금메달도 받았다. 아마 최연소 금메달 수상자 명단에도 이름을 올릴 수 있을 듯.
올해는 마지막 6번 문제가 꽤 어려웠나 보다. 600명이 넘는 참가자 가운데 이 문제에서 7점 만점을 받은 학생이 여섯 명뿐이었다.
