The Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering honored senior faculty member Kumares C. Sinha, Edgar B. and Hedwig M. Olson Distinguished Professor of Civil Engineering, upon his retirement from the school.

Today, #Purdue Civil and Construction Engineering celebrated the legendary career of Professor Kumares Sinha. In addition to his countless contributions to engineering research and the world at large, Prof. Sinha was known as an incredible educator, mentor, and friend. We wish him the very best!

#Purdue Civil and Construction Engineering senior Quentin Lovejoy says he always knew he wanted to pursue a career in transportation engineering. A dream of his is to work on a railway expansion project to improve the rail system in the U.S.
