I just find the random cinematic slow-mo distracting because it happens pretty much randomly and ruins the flow of gameplay, and if you have Boone then the game just jumpscares you randomly from time to time. I've just turned the cinematic mode off.

YES!!! It's soooo good and satisfying.
I've never played with the indicators on so I have no idea where the bullet will land and it's tense.
It's funny because when it happens in Fallout: New Vegas it's ironically super annoying which is a shame because slow-mo is so cool.

Also the foxes really are path-finding, they are not just moving towards the leader in a line (Which would actually be ideal, but nonetheless...). This is the first step to collision avoidance.
