I'm about 16000 words in to the first draft of Rampion with at least 4000 to go, so I hope to finish it in a week or two. I ended today's session by drafting a hymn for the story (melody undecided)... which seems to be becoming a trend for this fairytale collection.

I bought this game ages ago and am finally getting to it... the hype about how perfectly meowtastic it is was on point 🐾

Gently thawed some of the goth yatsuhashi I brought back from Japan in October (I ate two and froze the rest), which I enjoyed with some red wine to celebrate a full work-week of being able to write upwards of 400 words a day with the new method. Also, Rampion has become novella-length! 乾杯!♪

Scout and I woke up, watched the big, fluffy snowflakes falling outside beyond the window for a while, and the rest of the day was spent writing and organizing...♡
The podcast updates have fallen by the wayside, but I don't have any listeners so I'm gladly putting extra energy towards my writing.

A morning sprint and nighttime sprint with other writers resulted in about 2400 words! I've built up enough focus/discipline that I can now do pretty well with the pomodoro method. It's also far more fun to write with company... the queer retelling of Rapunzel is well on its way to completion 💜🏹

I had a lot of fun drawing this for the @trueref.bsky.social November Draw This challenge and it made my afternoon extra cozy so I called it "Cozy Sunday".

I really struggled with making their hand grasp the cup, so I swapped it out for the star pillow!

I got to visit North Bay for work (furthest north I'd ever been in ON) and had a great time; everyone was so warm and welcoming and standing next to the bay in the cold wind was gorgeous

I dropped my writing as soon as it started snowing to go for a walk and catch some snowflakes. Scout refused to get in his backpack and is enjoying the spectacle through the living room window ♪
