It’s giving a very “Wizard of Oz” and “Ba Sing Se” vibe. Considering Jod being Silvo wasn’t the big twist of the series, I think we’re in for something very exciting! Let me know what you think or if you have any theories on this too.

Also another small detail in episode 3 that could be pointing to the possibility that a droid is behind all of this is Jod literally disregarding going back for SM-33 simply because he’s a droid. Could be subtle foreshadowing.

It all feels like a droid that considers itself superior to organics (similar to Ajax) decided that it could run a planet and rule over organics better than the Republic/Empire ever could and found a planet where they could do it hidden from the rest of the galaxy.

The suburban and “perfect” feel to everything is definitely on purpose and the entire society seems like how an AI or droid would run everything. Assigning kids their role in society for the rest of their lives in like 5th grade is also wild and a very “droid” thing to do.

The city we see resembles the ‘circular city model’. An efficient, sustainable design similar to Walt Disney’s Progress City concept for EPCOT. A vision that in my opinion you’d most likely expect from a droid compared to the other locations we’ve seen in Star Wars.

At Attin is some sort of forgotten myth to the rest of the galaxy similar to Atlantis or more on the nose, like Treasure Planet. The kids go through some sort of nebula when they blast off that hides the planet from prying eyes (which a droid like Ajax would highly benefit from).

Alright, this might be far fetched but I believe that the “supervisor” of At Attin has to be a droid similar to Ajax Sigma and there are already signs pointing to that possibility.
