re the LDS chapel shooting, a few things stand out:
• no officials, media, etc. have offered apologies to the Mormon community or expressed solidarity
• officials are pointedly calling it an act of violence rather than a hate crime
seems odd/disrespectful - curious what the Mormon perspective is
