More bus services on weekends would cut waiting times, relieve crowding, and get more people out of their cars.

No less than six Melbourne lines run every 40 minutes on Sunday mornings: Sunbury, Craigieburn, Upfield, Mernda, Hurstbridge and Sandringham. Service frequencies aren't determined by Metro; they're decided by the State Government.

Train is an option for many, but for those in nearby suburbs or on the Craigieburn line, tram is quicker and more direct. The new stop should be a big improvement over how it was just a few months ago. bsky.app/profile/ptua...
