My relationship with just about any modern service is having to be constantly vigilant to avoid as much of the service that I don't want as possible, just to avoid any kind of upsell that might be happening in the dynamic. I decided that if I want something they offer I will think of it later.

I'm pretty sure the algorithm isn't really built to acknowledge your stated desires. As far as I can tell, any "don't recommend" buttons are mere placebo.

I swore off looking at the home page years ago, so I'm not sure what the state of things is. I follow so many channels that my watch later playlist hasn't run dry in a long time.

It has been extremely difficult to find anything positive in the state of the country, but this is helping.

Seems pointless that the games getting adapted into film are games for which film equivalents are an entire genera already. Catan is about as worthy of an adaptation as Battleship was.

I've had moments when I typed entire small words I didn't actually intend to, and a couple times that even happened when I'm on a keyboard with no autocomplete functions. Still perplexed by that. Bottom line, that happens to the best of us.

This movie really solidified the kind of hero Superman really is and I'm here for it. I wasn't fully on board with how the movie throws you in at first but the way it played out I realized that actually telling all that implied story wasn't necessary.

as someone who's default handwriting style is cursive, it is depressing when people can't read it because it is cursive and not just because my handwriting is a mess.

I'm glad you at least mentioned no comment on the book of Marrim, but I'm curious if there is any hope the books of Ti'ana and D'ni might get physical republication.

Makes me wonder. Soon it will be too realistic to spot the fake. So far I can easily spot a fake video by the way things move, but where will the fake videos become so good that they look real first, or will my ability to spot the fake motion weaken because all the videos I'm seeing are fake?
