👏
This is absolutely real. The current HBO Max version of this "Mad Men" episode "remastered for 4K" did not include an updated visual effects shot, which originally painted out the crew and equipment. Not just that, the HBO Max episode titles/order is jumbled for s01.
HBOMax has started showing a 'remastered' 4K Mad Men and they’ve messed things up so during Roger’s oyster vomit scene you can now see the crew men with the vomit hose on the right

after a year of usage, I
- kept the original case and a cooler one with manual control
- switched from Pi-hole to AdGuard (for some reason). It works fine
- stopped using HomeAssistant and other IoT stuff
- installed tailscale
- adopted a bit dotfiles setup for linux systems

so now its just DNS-box
ok. I bought raspberry pi
now I am trying to find the answer 'why?'

OK
I finished with a full list of changes in iOS26 (it wasn't so much).

Most bad changes related to redesign.

Most positive changes - small and unexpected enchantments.

If you are still on iOS18 and don't like the design changes, you can wait for 26.2-26.4

iPhone 17 Pro Internals Wallpaper Update:
USB-C port, speakers, cameras, battery, and most of the railings are now complete. Remaining tasks include finishing the logic board, upper-right railings, and adding final polish to the overall design.

Recently learned how to properly test universal link handling on macOS with the `open` command.

`open -a /path/to/app.app "${YOUR_URL}"`

Super useful when you need to target your debug build directly.

I wrote more about it here:

Windows 11 updates break localhost (127.0.0.1) HTTP/2 connections
Microsoft's October Windows 11 updates have broken the "localhost" functionality, making applications that connect back to 127.0.0.1 over HTTP/2 no longer function properly.
