2/3: Local “shark nannies” are now caring for Jelly with minimal human conditioning. Once she’s grown, she’ll be tagged and released into the protected waters of Raja Ampat as part of the StAR (Stegostoma tigrinum Augmentation and Recovery) Project.

Say hello to Fender, a critically endangered bowmouth guitarfish making waves in our Tropical Reef Aquarium! At 6'7" long and 230 pounds, he’s the largest resident in the Outer Reef habitat.
