Nothing they do as far as punishing the unemployed or disciplining the labour movement is a surprise when you realise their entire role is just playing good cop. I genuinely wish more "proud unionists" would realise this

The scope for industrial action is extremely limited by the laws we have & the constant need to for mainstream unions to be in lockstep with the Labor party also quells more radical action, because all that needs to happen is securing another Labor term instead of improving conditions on the ground

They always have the excuse that the Liberals will be worse for unions, but when you have situations like the entirety of the CFMEU being put into adminstration over allegations not yet proven in a single branch, that argument becomes obviously absurd. We wonder why union participation has gone down
