That being said, videogame award are mostly meaningless in the end. Be happy if a game you like won an award, circlejerk on reddit if it didn't, yadda yadda.

It is by no means perfect, and many of the initial pains and concerns of players have been and will be adressed in due time, and I have no doubt that when it gets its eventual dlcs and whatnot, it will undoubtedly be at the videogame pantheon along its younger brother.

I get that not all games are meant to be liked by everyone, and people hate being left out of the cool things due to the ever present and ridiculous difficulty discourse, but I think it's downright disingenous to deny that Silksong is one of the best games in recent years.
