He’s actually very good in his Doctor Who episode, The God Complex. Although this is helped by the fact that he plays a snivelling toerag, so it’s not much of a stretch.

Yeah, it’s like the two inter-Simon versions of the Cure (duo, Phil Thornalley) are a different band. I mean, it’s a great band, just a different one. Yet Head on the Door and Pornography sound completely different… but it’s clearly the same band. Or maybe it’s just me.

Also the Cure album where Simon Gallup came back and where Smith wrote the entire thing so took all the songwriting credits himself.
