It always weirds me out when a movie that hasn't been officially released yet gets nominated for major awards. Yes, there are industry screenings and "For your consideration" reels and shit, but it reminds me of the time TRANSFORMERS won the MTV Movie Award for Best Summer Movie You Haven't Seen Yet

I try really hard to cut package deliverers some slack, especially before christmas. But it's hard when they stuff your delivery so badly into the mailbox that you have to push and pull for nearly 10 minutes to get it out and it's a fucking christmas miracle that it's not broken.

I give THE 'BURBS a chance. I fucking LOVE the original movie to the point where I would consider it my favourite and I actually find remakes fascinating instead of sacrilegous.
Yet the teaser looks too much like "The same but genderswapped", BUT it's less than a minute, so who knows what's coming?

I still believe that JUPITER ASCENDING would have a better reputation if they had used a marketing campaign that had advertised it as the kind of life action anime that it actually is. I'm even 85% sure they only cast Mila Kunis because her eyes look like they were drawn by a Manga artist!
