He destroys his own argument. Restrictions on alcohol purchases are not to protect the alcohol, they are to prevent the unwanted consequences of everyone having access to alcohol, which is what Rs are doing with "Voter ID" - trying to prevent the unwanted (by them) consequences of everyone voting.

The issues were that what his people were doing was wrong and they behaved unprofessionally. So, no, he has not addressed those issues, let alone fixed them.

I think it's nice that a regime in which DEI is anathema has selected for an important position someone whose sight and hearing are seriously impaired.

She's a convicted child trafficker and a serial liar. Why anyone would believe any exculpatory drivel she offers up - especially if she's explicitly providing it in exchange for clemency - would be one of the world's great mysteries.

Is there anyone on Sen. Schumer's staff who has been paying attention for the last decade or so? Could they tell him that neither this regime nor any component part of it has any interest in what is reasonable? Their goal is complete domination, and their credo is "my way or the fkg highway".

A "moderate Democrat" is a quasi-Republican. They advocate for superficial change, not systemic reform.

So much bullshit in that response, someone should have thrown a tarp over Gonzales and wheelbarrowed him out. Since when is he an expert on criteria for asylum or the facts of Liam's case? And how is any US citizen of any age harmed by affording everyone within our borders due process?

It's sweet that someone called him a "constitutional lawyer" since he's obviously never even read the plain words of the Fourth Amendment, let alone the thousands of legal precedents for their application.

If you take their assertion at face value, the people in charge of this regime are admitting they're not bright enough to figure out - even over the course of "several months" - how to safely share classified information.

The next right thing for Suozzi would be to step aside and let his place be taken by someone who is astute enough to recognize how to prioritize a commitment to democratic ideals over the ritualistic glorification of all things law enforcement.
