Not to mention that even insured individuals are screwed. When half the nation loses coverage, hospitals/doctors lose customers. This means closing facilities. What good is your insurance if the nearest hospital is over an hour away?

"voted for a rapist" doesn't do this justice.
He's a CHILD rapist. He's also increasing poverty, withholding food, withdrawing healthcare, ending alliances, fouling air and water, promoting war, advancing bigotry, and consolidating authoritarianism. The rape is somehow not even his biggest crime.

Remember that Trump is the only human in existence. This whole universe is his story. Everyone else is a walk-on extra at best.

Then Trump would excommunicate the Pope right back. After all, who has more authority? The Woke Pope, or Republican Jesus?

So we're going to start an earnest discussion of Universal Basic Income to avoid mass homelessness and starvation, right?
November 28, 2025 at 4:22 AM
He even already has a word. "MAGA" is the current flavor of post-Tea-Party Republicans. Why is he even trying to rebrand his rebrand?
November 26, 2025 at 3:13 PM
It's not even a joke. This is just the literal process for the Trump Administration.
November 26, 2025 at 3:08 PM
Agreed. I've been using that as the term for a while now. Though given the violence and malevolence, I usually just say "redcaps"

I've been saying "Trumplican"

Economics 101: We can't have a consumer based economy if consumers cannot afford to consume.

Drain the swa... no wait. It's swamp the vote now.

If you're poor: not paying your bills is shameful.
If you're rich: not paying your staff is smart.
Apparently...

Exactly like how Trump ran his "businesses" while a private citizen:
Use other peoples' money to invest.
If it fails, other people go broke.
If it succeeds, Trump gets richer.
But now using tax dollars and the fed gov't to lean on the scales.

I don't know where we should draw the line for mandatory retirement from Congress, but 95 is clearly much too old.
November 25, 2025 at 2:42 PM
90% of his voters don't even know who he is, wouldn't recognize his face or even know his name. He just gets the straight-ticket votes for (R) voters.

Having a "businessman" that ran a ~30 person org that was mostly his own family/friends and was notorious for breech of contract and not paying subcontractors, from a man from a family of slum lords, may not have been a good decision for President of a vast and complicated bureaucracy.

Move fast and break things... like the water table and ecosystem and the ability to have ground that doesn't just collapse into sink holes. But as long as the promise of tunnels prevents sOcIaLiSm like trains that would hurt Musk's car business!

The hostile workplace aside... he predicts that phones will no longer have an operating system or any apps, just anticipate the pixels and sounds you'd like to see? He has no idea how anything works, does he?

Similarly, I had very few carts for Super Nintendo and I played them over and over again.

Now my Steam library is overflowing and I can't bring myself to play anything.

Reps learned from Covid that they hate being told what to do more than they like living.

Dems: "Soldiers are required by law to obey the law, even if that means disobeying orders that are illegally given."
Reps: "The Dems are suggesting that soldiers disobey Republican orders."
Why is that, Mike? Why would that mean disobeying Republicans? Are Rep orders illegal, Mike?

Still scary that 41% support him. But not surprising, given the unceasing support from all right-wing media and the utter capitulation of allegedly left-wing or independent media. Remember that NYT helped make Trump as successful as he's been.
November 20, 2025 at 3:11 PM
If Trump does something, it becomes legal and is morally necessary because he did it and he is a divine figure.
If anyone opposes him in any way, even slightly, then they are evil and illegal and any actions to defeat them are justified.
That's the entire basis of GOP politics now.
