The NSW Parliament has passed the second stage of industrial relations reforms - delivering the biggest expansion of workplace rights in over 30 years. These hard-won changes are the result of years of campaigning by unions.

This morning, alongside NSWNMA, we stood united against racism. Our Industrial Manager, Nathan Bradshaw, delivered a powerful speech at the rally. ‘We send a united message that we will defeat racism in the public service.’ he said.

The ACTU warns that the current push by Coalition members to cut superannuation will cost the average 30-year-old worker around $165,000 in retirement income.

The TfNSW DC met on Friday 22nd November at PSA House. A number of important issues were discussed, including the current state of the Pay Rise negotiations.

Community Services Departmental Committee met today to continue working on industrial issues and the Child Protection in Crisis campaign. They also met with Minister Kate Washington to discuss the campaign, award and industrial issues. Delegates working hard for the membership.
