I agree for sure but unfortunately looks like the oil money is too appealing for pretty much every sport these days, they've even got the snooker now, a deep evil part of me wishes they'd buy my beloved, struggling rugby league side lmao

I agree to a certain extent that boxing needs reform but the idea that the man who genuinely believes powerslap will be a thing is the man to save it is laughable

So I can't see a world in which glorified prospect fights for a fake world title matter, how are they gonna increase prestige in a sport with a history this long? They may be able to get a Canelo for one fight to hype a card, but boxing already lacks upcoming big stars, can't see this making them

The other issue I would forsee is that they're gonna have to bet on upcoming prospects big to push the brand.they're not gonna be able to attract the biggest stars as they're likely happy in their exclusive, lucrative deals so who is left? World title fights generally don't do big numbers as a whole
