Nostalgia always clouds the perception of these sorts of things. No two rises to notoriety for art are the same, always influenced by the culture and landscape. Even if a mysterious artist emerged now in the way you describe, it just wouldn’t hit the same. But that’s not ultimately a bad thing.

I love that shadow is apart of the line but has absolutely zero holiday accoutrement.

It has turned so many king-making situations in multiplayer into we all tie it’s astounding. Highly recommend.
