Heres the section on its conception from the wikipedia page, which of these people are you referring to?
The project was conceived by Ajit George, a writer on Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft (2021), who pitched it to Jeremy Crawford, D&D's Lead Rules Designer, and Wes Schneider, a Senior Game Designer. George and Schneider became the book's co-lead designers and by September 2020, they had assembled a team; the entire creative team included over fifty people of color.

This photo is already a bit old but @jaguartony.bsky.social and I have been busy making and playtesting the different types of formats that will go into the Roguelike Megadungeon Workbook. Its getting a bit more of a Dwarf Fortress world generation feel to it

Here is the data for my Itchfunder. Itch is actually not bad for discovery, I dont know how this compares to Kickstarter, etc, but they were a very significant part of my traffic. This is with a more deliberate effort to post updates on itch, and with a decent follower count there.
Graphs showing views, downloads and payments over the month of February, with three peaks for the first three weekends and one moderate one at the end of the month. It also gives incoming visits from other sites over the past 30 days. 1373 from reddit, 1339 from itch, 436 from reddit frontpage, 178 from bluesky. Further down is some decent traffic from iwanttoplay.games, rascal, seed of world blog, daisy chase blog, and a few substacks

The final level is the Deathlands. When I finish stitching these together, I will put them in the Misty Lands of the Dead in the overland setting map. So the dungeon would wind around and eventually arrive back on the overland map with a surface entrance guarded by hordes of undead
Level 12 The Deathlands Necropolis, The Domain of Master Sidoh. This dungeon is extra large, containing 57 rooms. It is a complex network of interconnected rooms. Rooms are keyed here, with no writing like the other dungeons. Keys for Level 12. The dungeon is guarded by Chimeras loyal to Master Sidoh. The western crypts are occupied by graverobbers harvesting bodies, and the occasional soul drainer who hunts them. Taran the Reanimator is mad and works in service to Sidoh by making chimeras that are loyal to him. Sidoh himself is holed up with necromancer and chimera guards. He has access to many bodies in the crypt and casts an ensorcelling spell over his minions with song.

After a while I circled back to some of the earlier dungeon themes, because I wanted the dungeon to be interconnected. I also didn't want to just go through all the themes in the zine by rote.
Level 8 The Deathlands Necropolis. Necromancers control most of the necropolis, creating an army of skeletons and zombies. A single tower is controlled by reanimators, led by a reanimator who used their power to make themselves unnaturally beautiful. They flood the necropolis with reanimated arms and challenge the power of the necromancers. Both factions are hunted by a few soul drainers who haunt the halls. Level 9 The Uncanny Valley, continued. A river runs through the valley, with pools haunted by ancient drowned spirits. At the end of a river is a waterfall that falls from the cliffs above. A band of goblins have made their home here and are raiding the ruins for loot. Two outposts of goblins are along the river, one has taken to worshipping an ancient gem encrusted skeleton, the other has a trapped panther that they lure unwanted visitors to. Level 10 The Goblinoid Warrens, continued. A single bugbear leads three separate warrens here. He lives at the shrine of the Putrescent one, who all the inhabitants worship. In the other warrens are many kobold engineers, including one who has learned to psychically communicate with the flying lizards of the caves. One of the warrens is inhabited by mole-folk, who have been subjugated by the goblins. Level 11 The Second Sky Fortress. Half of this fortress is consumed in a forever raging electrical storm created by a thaumaturgic mishap. Two champions, in love with each other, duel eternally for the entertainment of the remains of the giant noble court.

After going deep enough underground, the dungeon takes a planar turn, taking the adventure to some more fantastical locales
Level 4 The Caves of Ice Time, is ruled by Ice Drakes that use a star alter within ancient alien ruins as their source of power. Bear-folk serve them in exchange for magic. The drakes use an ice elemental to create a prison for two walrus kings who could challenge their power if released. Level 5 Decomposition Kingdom. Fey and Kappa rival each other, and the Kappa and Myconids have allied in their mutual hatred of the fey. A young Deinonychus has wandered away from its nest and is lost. Level 6 The Sky Fortress floats above the clouds. The Duke Duchess and their loyal champion are all that remain of their former empire. Their insectoid gardner and an obsidian champion still serve them loyally. They still travel to other planes to kidnap humanoids for food. Air elementals occupy the dilapidated corners of their castle, waiting for their opportunity to seize control. Level 7 The Abyss. This dungeon is owned by a clan of reptiloids out on an invasion, however their two shoggoth gods remain behind. A great wyrm and starspawn also inhabit the caves, having come to worship their shoggoth gods. Among the reptiloids’ trophies is an imprisoned demon shadow wraith.

I playtested Roguelike Megadungeon during all of 2023, during the #Dungeon23 community event. This is the megadungeon and its overland map I generated that year. It's unfinished without connections between levels, and has content from the original Roguelike Dungeon

An Encrusted Skeleton and a Ghostlight were once ruled the lands in the distant past. Rune Carved Obelisks remain from their former kingdom Level 3 The Goblin Warrens. Goblins worg riders raid the surface through large fissures, aided by bugbear shamans and kobold engineers. A community of giant mole people live to the south and have a uncomfortable truce with the goblins.

I originally imagined the Deathlands to be something like the realm of the Shinigami from Death Note, but I gave @roqueromero.bsky.social the theme with only the name as guidance, and well, the rest is history!
