That's really not bad! Were you satisfied with the menu? Some friends and I just ate at Advieh in Auckland and because there were 8 of us we had to do the tasting menu, and the picks just weren't the things I would have picked (and it was more than $100pp, lol)

I would always try to take a picture or write it down, and if I couldn't do that I'd have to invent some kind of pattern, which is what I did when I needed to learn phone numbers. Absolutely cannot just look and keep.
