i can think of 3 different children's chapter books that i read that would be trucking along with their fun adventures and then right at the end of it the best friend dies via a freak act of nature

On top of that we’re hosting Thanksgiving so we gotta clean the house and we can do a lot of that without power

Thanks for the offer! The power line and branch is over our garage unfortunately, so we’re a little trapped unless we pay for a ride or bus over. They’re already over here to fix the power anyway and we should stick around to make sure they don’t need anything from us.
