All goes back to what was very alienating for me (and others) about websites like Mastodon and cohost. Similar logics are gradually being applied here too.
It's sort of like how people care about these alternatives, but aren't great at propagandising them and resort to 'it's just better here!'

What I mean by 'ignore' is probably like searching for new headphones. You want to have an idea of what is nice, so for myself, I'd watch a DankPods video or something. But I'm not a professional musician or audiophile. I don't need to go all in on forums on the specifics unless I need help.
