In 1957, a stray dog from the streets of Moscow became the first living creature to go into orbit. Sadly, her mission was a one-way trip, as there was no way to bring her home at the time. This is her story re-imagined.

68 years ago today, the real Laika took her first and last trip to the stars. May she rest in peace.
Today also marks the 2 year anniversary of this project's launch, and so much has happened since then that it's hard to even process.

The turnout for #NoKings in Wilkes-Barre was even bigger than I imagined, easily 4 or 5 times bigger than the last protest I went to here.
