I blame sports broadcasters, athletes, and particularly coaches for using "utilize" instead of "use".

It is amazing to me how much money that franchise makes and has literally ZERO cultural impact.

Given where the Mariners are in the "we're actually a world series candidate" window, how realistic is it that any of the top prospects on the cusp of breaking through make any sort of contributions next year? I'd love to see Colt, Kade, Harry, Cole, and Ben get time, but can the M's afford that?

Never seen an owner hate his fanbase like this. It would be comical if it wasn't so frustrating.

It's the movie Major League without the humor or the end result.

Nor do I. There is no built-in fanbase there, and baseball in 115 degree weather does NOT sound appealing. It's all an ownership dick-measuring contest.
