Yep. I've been saying for a while now that it will look a bit like all the fiber laid in the dotcom bubble. Most of that never got lit for 5 yrs or more. Giant buildings sitting stone cold empty is a different dynamic though. No idea how that plays out.

I think the reality is that these people don't actually believe anything. They are empty vessels. Everything and anything is just a lever to gain some kind of informational advantage to benefit themselves in some way. I dare ya fight me on this.
