I have an old Alienware Alpha R2, the "it's sort of a console" SteamBox (but running Windows) attempt from the mid 2010s. And I'm now looking at seeing if I can put something SteamOS-adjacent onto it because most of the hardware is still good enough to run a lot of games.

somehow, in the last 3-4 days, I have had the topic of setting up network-attached store (NAS) come up in discussions and now I even got hit by an embedded advertisement for one in a video.

So, I guess now I'm shopping for a NAS.

My new inspiration is to put together a quasi-standalone guide for the TTRPG #outgunned that is themed for heist shows (in the style of #leverage). Not that Outgunned can't do it on its own; more of "here is a collection of stuff and guidelines and rules to make this specific thing work better."
