I hate these! Because go be honest, the top 10% of my students are amazing, but if I put that when 2% is available, I’ll be hurting their chances. Which is just bonkers.

My husband had that surgery 9 years ago. I had never heard of a child getting it. Must have been scary.

Is this one of those NYT "a deal is imminent" articles they have been writing since at least the summer about other schools like Harvard? I'm sure Harvard, too, will eventually cave, but the confidence with which the NYT writes about these places w/ almost exclusively federal sources is incredible.
