Only trash would boo at a memorial.

Yes, it’s grotesque - particularly at a memorial.

Twunk?

An otter?

I once had students serenade me with that song on Teachers’ Day in Vietnam… it was next level earnest and hard to know how to respond
December 20, 2025 at 11:49 AM
Bwahahaha!
December 20, 2025 at 11:19 AM
Perhaps a pack of Saos?
December 20, 2025 at 11:18 AM
True, but who is Ten’s Leo Sayer?

P108 is a revelation

If you read the 🧵 you will note I have no skin in the game, just opinions about accessibility for all.

Yes and I am not even in that council (nor own a car), but the thread was about one person considering running for council on that platform, which is also ok.
December 20, 2025 at 1:50 AM
Yes and they do - in elections.
December 20, 2025 at 1:38 AM
Yes, but nowhere to the same extent and not another company holding your card details and other data.
December 20, 2025 at 1:37 AM
You don’t have to show a ticket with our council’s machines, and you can also give up your personal, payment and historical data to save yourself walking 2O metres if you wish. Both options can and do easily co-exist.

I feel like the columns are underblinged
December 19, 2025 at 11:04 PM
Memorial… is Trump dead?
December 19, 2025 at 10:55 PM
My council has credit/debit card meters which I am fine with as it is transactional as it should be, should you not want to keep your personal, payment and historical details on an app.
December 19, 2025 at 10:52 PM
I don’t carry much cash either - I find card/phone payments convenient - but believe systems should take all forms of payment where practical. My line is at other companies holding my personal info unnecessarily.
December 19, 2025 at 6:32 PM
Perhaps APT?
December 19, 2025 at 12:04 PM
Clearly it was the peace protestors that radicalised the terrorists.
December 19, 2025 at 12:01 PM
I don’t own a car, but if I did and i had to pay council for parking, I would object to a private company holding my card details and presumably taking a cut.

These are sweeping statements. It is not easy for everyone. Most is not all, and to be in a minority is also normal. There are many circumstances where people may not have access to banking, or phones, or phones with apps or just find cash easier.

They are normal people, but just live in different circumstances than you.
