Kyiv still partly holds Luhansk & Donetsk which together make up the Donbas industrial belt on the frontline of the war. Crimea was annexed by Russia in 2014. Areas from which Ukraine has withdrawn in Donetsk would be deemed a demilitarised zone which Russian forces will not enter.

Recently he compared illegal immigrants to monstrous fictional characters in Tolkien's LOTR & suggested all English people would die if they did not support Mr Robinson. With these comments Musk is flexing his ability to influence the political debate in a country where he holds no formal authority.
