HBLL#5: Baking Makes Me Feel Good!

Having a shit ton of baking to focus on helped me not get super stressed about the holiday. I had a plan that I was able to execute, and while Wed was a marathon baking sesh, I enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to improving upon my performance this xmas!

HBLL#4: Pumpkin Cookies

These pumpkin cookies were so freaking good, y'all. I am going to make them again very soon!

Oh yeah, related to #2: get King Arthur pumpkin pie spice because the meijer brand was quite underwhelming.

HBLL#3: Biscuits, D'oh!

Freezing biscuit dough was hit or miss. The individual biscuits I made in the air fryer turned out well, but the batch I baked in the oven were way overcooked. This is worth experimenting with b/c, hello, I CAN MAKE FROZEN BISCUITS IN MY AIR FRYER ONE AT A TIME.

HBLL#2: Pie Crust

1. Prebaking the gingersnap crust for the NY Times Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie is a big mistake. I omitted that step this time, and the crust was perfect.

2. NOT prebaking the pie crust for the King Arthur Pumpkin Pie is also a mistake. May have to try Sally's recipe next time.

I don't believe they are gullible anymore, either. But I do feel that there was a time in the 1980s when many of them were. It's not possible to write off as naivete anymore, for sure.

Unfortunately the media itself was the most gullible about this and have been bending over backwards to appease republicans ever since.

Elite media is complicit.

And maybe climate change is bringing unusual weather too!
