I hate that we have "vibe coder" and "vibe engineer". Just say engineer/developer who uses AI.

AI is just a tool to help us with some stuff and people who relay on AI and let AI do everything are just bad developers/engineers
Beyond Vibe Coding: What is Vibe Engineering?

As AI reshapes software, a new term emerges: vibe engineering. It separates professional AI use from haphazard coding, but the developer community is deeply divided on its impact.

I asked Claude Sonnet to find a memory leak and it's reffering to a function which is not being used and are properly closeing the rows

The biggest problem with open-source PRs generated by AI is that the person who creates the PR is not putting time into understanding the project and instead offload that work to the maintainer

I find it interesting that the hardest problem in version control systems such as Github is still building a good tool for reviewing code

Some feedback @danabra.mov @jay.bsky.team

Would it be possible to group notifications of same type for the same posts? e.g group all reposts and likes as 1 notification in the notifications lists

My biggest problem with X is that people get paid to write posts and it's not the problem that they get paid but it encourages people to write more engagement focused posts which often are posts based on hate

Peak usage of sonnet 4.5 is to ask it to make some refactors and it does 1/8 refactors and want me to do the other refactors including creating a guide on how I should do it

I already know how to do, I just want the ai to do it so I can do more funnier things 😂

This logic is downloaded 400 000 times a week by JS Devs: const isOdd = number => !Number.isInteger(number / 2);

What is an "AI Engineer". Someone who is an engineer because they tell an LLM what to do? Isn't that just a manager whose micro-managing? Or maybe it's a temporary role which will be removed soon?
