NAVSA 2025 was FAB! Thks go to everyone who gave terrific papers & shared their brilliant selves in so many conversations. But the biggest thanks to NATHAN & PATRICK who put together such a strong program, were so warm, & were literally everywhere! Models of intellectual community building!

I truly laughed out loud reading this. And thought -- as I often have -- "I'd read anything Adam Smyth writes." Which may just be the reaction every writer, esp of unfinished projects, wants to hear!

Thanks for sharing Caroline (and reposting Sarah). I'm sad to hear of Michael Twyman's passing too. I feel lucky to have been able to take a small workshop/seminar he led on litho three years ago at Reading. I learned so much -- and will continue to in his works.
