On the OTHER hand I still liked his art (he kept posting on the bird site) and he didn't seem like a bad or malicious dude even if he was usually in a bad place, so if he's actually dead then that's really sad.

On one hand, this wouldn't be the first time he just sorta disappeared (look up CuprumRus) and I could see this whole thing being an elaborate ploy to get him out of his commission queue (as happened with that account, or so I heard, and he also personally half-scammed me out of like $50).
