Update: The graphics portion of the logic board is fubar.
Thank goodness I have backups so I don't have to worry about that.
Price tag isn't... good. But also still cheaper than a new computer. ;_;
Might take anywhere from 3-4 days for a new board. So I kind of expect to get a working PC in a week.

Planning to take it to the place that successfully fixed the harddrive on the 2013 last time. At least then I'll hopefully have a straight answer on if it's fixable or not. ;_;

Received mystifying email about computer in the shop that despite discussing removing the screen to check for logic board or psu troubles, they are too concerned about breaking the screen and suggested trying another shop...

Sigh... guess the shop is going to be a lot more hand made items. I might root around over holiday break and see if I can list anything I've already got printed.
I do plan on making some editions of the werewolf den image. I'll try my best to get that going soon.

aaaaanddd, Adobe is somehow telling me my CS6 install has a revoked serial. So that's... gonna put a damper on making any prints. From their website:
"Adobe can also block your serial number due to misuse or because we no longer support new activations of outdated software and apps"

A lot of third parties will list their bootlegs on Walmart, Amazon, ect. I bought Owl House there, but you can tell by the font, background, and bluray menu's that it's not up to official standards. It's hard to tell until you see it in person. That's how I got malaysian Ghibli bootleg on accident.

Also why you might see multiple listings for a dvd/bluray with identical packaging on bootlegs in an online store's search. Versus official releases which typically will list year or editions or regions with few or any additional listings besides those.

And that's just one company. All of those listed have been complete for at least 2 or more years. Physical media sales have died off to the point of Best Buy no longer selling any in store. Most probably want a streaming economy because it forces you to buy in every month instead of buy out once.

Animation releases have just been very across the board. Example: Netflix STILL has not released the last few season of She-Ra. You can only buy the first few. But they released the full set of Kipo. No Nimona, Klaus was also never released, but Arcane season 1 did? Castlevania did.

Not in on Amphibia news, but quick search says it never got released. DvD listings I see seem to omit Disney's logo on their covers or skip showing a cover at all. So likely bootleg listings.

Stores in US have reduced dvd/bluray sales across the board. My local store typically only carries new release and seasonal picks now.

Oh, the prescription is at least eight or more years old, but it's better than falling on my face because my nearsightedness is so bad.
It's actually doesn't feel horrible, since the mask blocks peripheral vision in all directions and I noticed the massive drop in my prescription less.

(It's a perfectly functional bootleg, but you didn't hear that from me... the person wanting to buy a physical release of media I like.)

I never thought to check it when it got repaired months later by OTHER repair place. Cause like... WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT??? Adding more sticks doesn't equal more RAM???

I had to to look it up! I was like?? 4GB... I could have sworn it was at least 8GB.
That model came with 8GB standard, there was no 4GB option.
I don't consider myself a computer expert, but even I can do basic math when it come to installing your RAM.
