Yes, it's disgusting. They also make video that seem so realistic. I can now spot them because they look *too* perfect. I've also noticed these scammers used to sell something else before selling so-called patterns. I've got my money back but the bitter taste in my mouth is still there. Bloody AI!

Sorry for the essay, I'm just SO upset 😭 looking for crochet patterns on Etsy was enjoyable, and I'd always find amazing stuff. I'm always happy to support creative people who pour themselves in what they do. Now instead there are just bloody scamming impostors 🤬

This time I've paid more attention though. It looks that now a lot of listings for crochet patterns are AI made. I've started noticing it from the pictures of the advertised product, and obviously from the buyer's reviews. It's very suddenly a pandemic. Finding a REAL design is now a struggle

I've had a fight and I've reported her to Etsy as well. But I have to start searching for a pattern and corresponding yarn, again!

I contacted the seller, who said she had changed it, and would send me a new one. However, following the new instructions would have never achieved the pillow she advertised either. I've pointed it out but she denied it, and even showed me what another customer made

Yes 🥺 the pattern was supposed to be for a super cute cat pillow. I had scoured the internet to find the perfect pattern and I did, or at least I thought I did. I bought it and ordered all the yarn (a lot) as per pattern instruction. Started working on it and straight away realised something was off

Oh no 🥺 he got injured again. Hope he's alright.
