Buy cheap store brand "ultra" dishwash liquid, 28oz. Pour into an empty gallon jug. Slowly (reduces foaming) fill the jug almost to the top with warm water (mixes quicker than cold). Invert a dozen times to mix. You now have foaming hand soap refill at about 1/10 the price of the commercial stuff.

It's time to restrict all candidates for federal and state offices to women only. This regime in particular has shown that men are too emotional, prone to episodes of rage, drunk with power, etc. to be fit to serve. Also applies to appointed officials.

I've been watching vintage TV on YT and I'd actually bet that "To Tell The Truth", "I've Got a Secret", and "What's My Line" could do quite well if they (A) pretended it was a 1950s+ audience and (B) did it in B/W. Lend a slice of nostalgia for OldGuys™ (me), and maybe a smile for young'ns.

Many Europeans aren't aware of the distances involved in US travel. To visit my siblings in PA is a drive longer than from Paris to Rome. I could fly there...but the nearest airport that services PA is like driving from Colwich to Stokesley, England. At the other end: another drive of that length.

I ordered John Ball's "In the Heat of the Night" after watching the movie a dozen times or more. It's one of the few cases where the movie was significantly superior to the book. The book focuses on officer Sam Wood. Virgil Tibbs is mild and seems almost an incidental character.

I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person -- especially the only male -- in the 50 states who gives not the least tiny turd of a shit about sports in general, and about 'murican football in particular. IMHO the Kitten Bowl is far more relevant to...anything and everything...than the Superb Owl.

Four years ago today a tornado struck nearby Mayfield, KY. Much of the town was all but leveled. Today much of the damage has been repaired, but in this area of Kentucky, tornadoes will continue to be a serious hazard.

Wrote two editions of a book on rockets. Damn, you have to write *fast* cuz they really move. A couple sentences on each one on liftoff. And Elmo's shots just RUIN good material when they boom.
