I had no idea what type of future I had in 2020 or even if I would have one because or how close I came to NOT having one. But, here I stand in front of my Christmas tree in November 2024 with a clean bill of health, new-to-me heart, a family, and a Bachelor of Arts Psychology degree.

..... It's awesome when our children make strides and reach accomplishments. It's amazing that they have wonderful support systems, however, they do these things themselves and they should know that they are capable and that they did this because they are capable .....

..... Yes, having a good support system is helpful. However, I will never look at my daughter and ride the coattails of HER accomplishments with a comment about me stating that being her mother is the reason she's succeeding .....

... We need to silence it and, instead, listen to our gut because that's literally our body telling us something is right/wrong/safe/dangerous... Not the voice in your head (ego.)

We can talk about that on my page... That constant voice that consistently tells you everything negative about yourself, sounds just like you and can sometimes take on the voice of others... That's the ego and the ego is absolutely nothing positive in any way, shape, or form...

This standard is the box society has put everyone in who they consider "social deviants" within society...
