i wouldn't know O: i dunno how people are about it and who's got what going on. i just try to hope that someone either responds or let me know chatting isn't a good option atm!

i really hope so too. i love love love this community and there's so many cool people but it hurts how often i can see them get together with each other but me being unable to get them to carry a simple conversation ; ;

yeah, like seriously, ANY acknowledgement helps! i don't mind having gaps in chatting, i won't get mad if we haven't chatted in a few months bc neither of us reached out (i dont have that friendship decay), but if i'm reaching out and there's just nothing happening every time? D: yeah that hurts

and if they do get back to me, there's zero acknowledgement of the previous gap or lack of response. it's like a clean slate, and i just... don't know. it's been bubbling up like this for me for the past year now with so many different people. i just want any acknowledgement, please, it helps! i keep seeing the memes about how they "forget to respond" and how their anxiety/ADHD stops them but like. i feel anxiety! on the other end! i feel like i'm secretly hated on and my impostor syndrome flares up when i repeatedly get no responses from over 8 people and see them active elsewhere! ...and you're under no obligation to chat if you don't want to! but maybe like... at least an "i can't talk right now, sorry!" or even an emoji reaction of acknowledgement? it makes me feel unwanted and unworthy of your time like im bottom priority in your friendship. (2/4)
