If by “that” you mean the prevention work that Nosferatu posted, the answer is yes. The Johns Hopkins school mentioned there was a collaborator. Unfortunately people took it all the wrong way and the rest is history. People really don’t want to hear that CSA is preventable or to think about how.

The research being undertaken on these devices does consider both positive and negative potential impacts. There is really no downside to promoting scientific research.

I support them. What’s your stance on bullying people so hard they attempt suicide? (Not me, I don’t care at all what bullies say - but many trans and queer young people have been bullied into self harm by the likes of you.)

So it’s even more important important to research whether they could be used for prevention, since adult sex doll owners do have potential legal sex partners, which exclusive pedophiles don’t.

I mean, I have made the same terminological point as you many times (including today), but at a certain point it’s just bashing your head against a wall and you have to meet people where they are in order to communicate with them.

That the Tumblr user in OP screenshot was correct to say that children can be pedophiles. That’s true for 16+ year olds if you take the word pedophile literally, and it’s true for younger children if you take it as meaning a perpetrator of CSA.

It’s child sexual abuse. Pedophilia is a mental condition, not an action. This is not a controversial statement.
