Most successful products have a story about withstanding a time when everything doesn't work and everyone in the team loses motivation.

One of the best compliments I have received : "Your product is rather good for a first-timer" Because it is very difficult to get the solution right on the first try. I didn't get it 100% right but still, the compliment motivated me.

An app is not even 50% finished when it is fully coded. Even after the first launch, it is more like 60% done. If you mistake it for 100% done, you will be disappointed. And if you stop building it, all the efforts will be for nothing.

An app is owned by many people. But they will say they don't have time to participate in very early stages where the idea is too vague. It is normal to see that people only start to pay attention once the idea is cleared and something is created.

It is very rare that we can design a product freely without any limitations. Budget constraint, unrealistic timelines, stakeholders' specific requests etc. Visualizing solutions is free but better to do it realistically.

Only one mistake I wish I had a chance to understand sooner => Spending time on "perfectly" imagining the product. Instead I should have built deadly simple and quick solutions that I can test ASAP.

The first step to creating a product is to doubt the initial idea. It must give you confidence and motivation. Never work on 'for-fun', 'just-doing-something' type ideas.
