There has been an obsession w the story that “Kamala is for They/Them” was some kind of work of political mad genius. The entire basis of this is a mention in the NYT of a Kamala PAC internal study that says it moved 2.7% towards Trump. No methodology, no public paper…just that number and vibes?

I doubt anyone reading this will care, but this has always struck me as a misunderstanding of how LLMs work and what they're actually good at.

If you really wanted it to evaluate the count of letters in given text, you can do that by asking it to write itself code to do it accurately:
