Got a simple open-case for the NAS, to properly have a base for it, rather than having it lay on my shelf.
However, since its some proprietary fuck motherboard, it has not the correct holes and doesnt align.
Now wanted to put it back into the shelf: doesnt turn on anymore.

Copied all basic media i got to my server and importing everything there.
Needs often a lot of cleanup, especially the music, since I got some underground oldschool dubstep and dnb shit in there.
Therefore aren't recognized, so have to add them to #musicbrainz first, which is a bit of a hassle.

Just saw that the remaster of #DeadCore released.
Supposedly mostly the same, with - better graphics (who asked for that?) - and one new level (original had 5).
Played the demo last year for a bit, and it was basically the same as the original.
I might give it a shot, as it's funnily enough ...

Figured a intel N150 would be good enough - which in basic stuff it is - but starts to have issues when skipping or rewinding.
Given that it has a TDP ~6W, still quite good.
May need something stronger in the future tho :/

Still need to work on a cooling solution and need some custom stuff.
Buddy who's moving gave me his old 3d printer, so perfect way to use it.
But it's *just* the printer, nothing else.
After some talks with a bud, turn out i need a lot of extras...

Updating to newest Angular version in work, and it's always such a hassle 😵
The codebase is huge, and started with Angular 2... it has so much legacy bs in there, which makes updates a nightmare.
And now the translations (ngx-translate) doesnt want to cooperate.

Ok, so setting up #Arch is actually much more of a hassle as expected, fml.
Tried 3 times to install it manually with the docs, but always landed in the grub shell instead of starting.
Gave up and used archinstall, which is actually really nice.

Currently using bazzite since I planned on playing some stuff on it, but it's quite locked down and not really fitting for my usecase.
So I will probably go with #Arch and some minimal WM to have it as lightweight as possible.

Now it actually starts to look like a server.
And it's also starting to make heat like a server, so I *do* actually have to work something out for the ventilation.

Noticed I got myself a nice fancy switch n shit, but my PC and Laptop ain't connected to it, but straight to the router.
I think I'll have to finally move the router into the rack as well, and wire up like 30m of cable through my living room.

So, wanted to make it, when my media pc turn on/off, the tv follows along.
tried WOL, while it technically works (cant get it properly working with systemd yet :/), it can't turn it off.
Luckily I got a LG which has #webos so I can connect to it.
Getting that to work is a whole ordeal however.

And the m5 screws dont fit intoy rack cuz they use stupid imperial 32-10 whatever bs, so had to order m4s now

I move basic stuff into a method, which saves some stuff into the object.
Using it, causes a segfault.
But having it in the same method, and everything works.
The code itself hasn't changed.
