Meteorologist Avery Tomasco posts on FB: La Niña officially came to life last week. We've already been living that reality for more than a month. Approaching the halfway point in our rainy season and it will go down as the driest start to meteorological fall (Sep -> Nov) in Austin's recorded history. October thus far is our 2nd hottest on record. I expect us to take the #1 spot by the end of this (still hot) week. I continue to throw mild temper tantrums during every commercial break.
