On another vacation! This is just a short one back to my home island. One day, really. I’ll meet an online friend that I never met in person before, and stay with a friend’s mom and mom’s friend to gain a connection in the area. Hopefully there will be lots of nostalgic places driving around.

I’m off to the big city (2.5 hour drive) for a game of Dungeons and Dragons this afternoon. Then a night in a motel just to play it safe with the driving and the drowsiness and what not. A little adventure for the dragon.

As someone who has been on the receiving end of a dog pile, I can definitely see how someone could refer to the experience as “being in the torment nexus”.
I don’t know whether I’ve actually heard it in the wild or not, but it’s not as much of a stretch as everyone seems to be making it out to be.

I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt that there are a lot of good, totally-not-Nazi people out there in the military whose buddies got them a tattoo with hidden meanings they never found out about until it’s too late.
