I’m an English teacher and this isn’t true in the state of WA where I work. Yes, curriculums should be updated- I question why we read To Kill a Mockingbird- but we read it- all 300 plus pages.

I was raised to believe these qualities are wrong and I am raising my kids this way - but this what they, and all kids see. It’s horrible.
