I'm not unfamiliar with the way commemoration has worked. It's a lot of effort by a lot of people. So somebody pushed for this, followed up on it, likely reported back glowingly to someone else when it was done. This will be a positive line in their performance appraisal. Obscene.

I suppose if I had to choose between getting hot and sweaty at a nightclub or a sauna, I'd choose the sauna because that would be easier on my aging frame. The good news is that I'd probably be left alone at either venue.
