Hartwich and other alumni of London ‘think tanks’ like Policy Exchange have form with attacking the EU. Brexit and Austerity are their trophies to date. Newsroom should be careful with associating itself with the ‘New Zealand Initiative’.

Mitchell also said that the PM's office had also received at least some of those emails. So was there a similar protocol in place with the PM's office to withold information from the PM and his team? If so, when did the PM become aware of it? If not, why wasn't any action taken sooner by PM?
